The official DoveLewis Run for the Love of Dove website is live!

“Virtual” Run for the Love of Dove 2009—Now thru July 31, 2009
On your marks. Get set. Go!

The "Virtual" Run for the Love of Dove is a unique twist on an annual DoveLewis event.  This year the “race” moves from the streets to well….pretty much anywhere your laptop can go. Given the current state of the economy and our desire to build a spectacular run event in 2010, we have opted to still “run” the great race, just online!  You got it kids, this year the “race” will be an online fundraising challenge. So start a profile with Murphy, Cocoa, or your favorite companion animal and join the “race” to raise money for animals in the community. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit DoveLewis.

So kick off your shoes, relax your socks and enjoy the “race” from the comforts of your couch. Be prepared to pound the pavement next year though! 

 

Come celebrate the online fundraising challenge at a few dog-gone fun events!  We are proud to partner with PGE Park for three - DoveLewis Bark in the Park games! PGE Park becomes dog–friendly for the night giving fans and their best friends the opportunity to take to the stands to watch the Beavers “bat” it out and the Timbers “kick” it into high gear.

Come celebrate the conclusion of the online fundraising challenge by taking your pooch “…out to the ballgame!”  This dog-centric evening, will feature a dog-bobblehead give-a-way to the first 1903 fans through the gates, booths on the concourse from some of our favorite pet-friendly companies, field festivities, and much more! The top fundraising "Runner" and "Pack" will also be announced!  Don’t miss this fun evening under the lights of PGE Park!
