Brie Homa

Brie Homa joined DoveLewis in 2021, bringing with her a vibrant passion for emergency and critical care in veterinary medicine. She is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care, driven by a commitment to provide compassionate advocacy and care for animals in their most critical moments. Her journey into veterinary medicine began after initially earning a degree in education with a focus on special education. Although she cherished her time teaching children, she felt an incredible pull toward veterinary medicine, leading her to a career shift and earning a degree in veterinary technology.

At DoveLewis, Brie values the hospital's culture of excellence and continuous learning, which aligns perfectly with her dedication to advancing her own skills and knowledge. She finds great joy in not only expanding her expertise but also sharing it, and mentoring fellow technicians and assistants.

Outside of her professional life, Brie loves traveling with her husband, rockhounding, gaming, and spending time near various bodies of water—be it the coast, lakes, or rivers.

Her family includes a trio of unique pets:
