Debbie Hutchins

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Debbie has lived in Portland, Oregon for thirty-five years and is currently Vice President of Business Development at Skanska, an international commercial general contractor, where she leads the pursuit of new construction projects and stewardship of client and industry relationships. Debbie holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University and previously served as a capital campaign fundraiser at Portland State University raising over $25M in philanthropic funds during her tenure.

Debbie is currently a member of the DoveLewis Capital Campaign Cabinet, and on the boards of the Portland Business Alliance and Portland Backpack (serving food insecure youth).  The youngest of her three children attends San Diego State University so when she’s not visiting southern California in her free time, she can be found enjoying the Oregon coast, live music, and long walks with her 5-year-old Maltese, Jack.
